Woderful breakdown! I like the treatment you have given to time here. With lives more sompact nowdays - It is refreshing to se a treatment which address use in a microscale.Program has a LOT culturally as to how spaces is uesed (i.e. Americans spend a lot more time in their garages as do say Indians).

yo, so i watched an interesting show on national geographics yesterday, it was all about dubai and the manmade islands (the world in particular). they talked about some design issues and natural issues that they had to overcome - namely the water (i.e. tides and currents). they ended up having the breakwater system (limestone blocks) which had little openings in the walls, so that water would be able to circulate around the individual islands, which prevented the water from becoming stagent swamp water. they also talked about the house the govt sponsored being prefab (since building is virtually impossible) and some technologies they incorporated into the house (desalination system for potable water). anyways, you might want to check it our, it was pretty interesting.

Thanks for the info Joe,

I did read and saw in discovery channel about the "palm" island and "the world". How they have to spray sand every once in a while to protect the "island" from sinking..
