Felix, I really like where your site analysis is leading you in regards to housing on both the land and the water with the anchor point being the shoreline. The potential planning of the site could lead you to some interesting forms. I wonder how far the city grid extends into the form though. I think that it could be detrimental if carried to far into the form. Does the current grid which is land based have any relationship to changing directionality of the water? The tides and tidal storms that would hit the shore may come from an angle that would be in conflict with a fixed grid orientation.
